Synergy Effects (Part 2)
The second part of my Synergy Effects series that deals with
the arrangement of single pictures together in one new, synergistic piece. There is a universe of possible photograph combinations -
so how to decide which pieces to structure with each other to form a harmonious whole?
Some questions helped me to decide on that:
Do certain colors go well together or do they contrast each other? Do the photographs share a similar pattern of lines or geometric figures? Do certain pictures form a new composition from a holistic point of view? Whats the narrative of the collage?
These questions guide me regularly when I try to compose a new piece.
